Founded in Seattle in 2008, MOD Pizza was built on the core belief that PIZZA IS PERSONAL. We set out to redefine the fast-casual experience by putting the creativity back in your hands. Whether you’re craving a familiar favorite or a unique masterpiece, we offer unlimited toppings for one price. This means you can build the exact meal you want without ever having to worry about the cost of adding “just one more” topping.
Every pizza and salad we serve is MADE ON DEMAND. We fire your pie in our ovens in just minutes, ensuring your meal is as fresh as it is unique. We aren’t just a business; we’re a team of real people who love pizza and are dedicated to serving our communities with heart. CREATING A MORE RECOGNIZABLE BRAND
For many years, MOD Pizza faced a classic dilemma; as the brand grew and evolved with new programs, new locations, and new teams, its visual identity became ad hoc. Simply doing business each day is a long-term pressure test of brand elements. And what worked well before risked becoming a creative obstacle. We looked to not only refresh our identity, but also respond to technical challenges we faced with previous designs.
PRIMARY LOGO
Bright, inviting, approachable. The MOD shield is central to our brand. Bold, strong, reassuring and protecting, it is the most recognizable part of our identity. Color makes a huge impact when creating a friendly and warm brand and by evolving to a single-color shield, we strengthen our ability to show up consistently.


WORDMARKS

The MOD PIZZA shield w/ wordmark logo lockup should be used for exterior signage and layouts that require a horizontal version of the logo, or when our primary logo would not be legible alone.

We view uniforms, restaurant decor, and other brand elements as a dynamic canvas designed to celebrate creativity and empower flexible expressions. Drawing inspiration from the strokes, colors, and boundary-pushing imagination of amazing art, our identity is built to adapt, evolve, and inspire while staying grounded by our core look.. Here, consistency meets imagination, giving us the freedom to craft brand experiences that are as bold, unique, and masterfully crafted as our signature slices.

Our voice is real. We’re a people place serving pizza, so we strive to speak like it. We use language that is approachable, current, and informal. We celebrate the people behind our pizza. Nothing from MOD should ever sound like it was written by a machine.

Our voice is positive. We use language that is encouraging, bright, and grounded. We focus on the future but act in the present. Even when it’s raining, we can always add pineapple.
WE ARE CASUALLY COOL
Our voice is witty, unexpected, and attention-grabbing with a pinch of grit. We recognize neat ideas and amplify the achievements of others. We don’t need be the loudest, or the only voice in the room. Consider us Pizza’s hype(wo)man.
